RIFLE RANGE DESCRIPTION

The Rifle Range offers 20 covered firing positions on the 300 yard range.
There are 20 competition target butts at the 300 yard point.

There are practice target berms located along the range at 25 meters, 100 meters, 200 meters, and 300 yards.

Shooting benches are provided.

There is also a heated reception room and storage area .

For a number of years the club has opened it's rifle range to the general public to
help ensure that hunters have ample opportunity and a safe place to sight their
rifles in prior to the hunting season. Please check our calendar & schedule for dates and times.

The use of Tracer Round Ammunition is prohibited on any range.

from Saturday August 14^th to Sunday October 3^th

PLEASE NOTE:

The rifle range may be open to club members for recreational shooting on scheduled dates, under the direction of the Match Director or Range Officer providing that space is available, that the shooting activity does not unduly interfere with or disrupt the event being held, and the 300 yard butts are not in use. These are known range date s and adjustments may be made to this schedule. The rifle range may be closed from time to time for work. Check the web page to confirm the dates. If you are traveling from a distance we advise a call to the rifle chair before you leave.
At Matches and practices all Members are welcomed and an effort will be made to accommodate these individuals to use the range. But this is at the discretion of the event organizer and a phone call to the organizer would be beneficial to see if you can be accommodated. If you have an interest in competitive shooting, show up at a match and ask a lot of questions. We all will help to the best of our ability to inform and include you in our sport.
